Bennett Associates Consulting Limited (BACL) was established in 1999 as a Financial Audit Company specialising in the Global Custody Operations of the worlds largest banks.  This foundation was further built upon in 2001 by offering Internal Audit outsourcing to the banks and their underlying clients such as pension funds and large institutional investors.  

In 2003 a Business Audit division was established to work with clients who had internal issues effecting the operational/successful performance of their business. This area has gone from strength to strength and we now have the expertise and capability to offer this service to all businesses from small to large corporate restructuring and cost driven savings.

Energy Audits and Energy Consultancy were included into our portfolio of services in early 2005.  We took the proactive approach through our existing relationships with several clients to offer a way forward with the Carbon Reduction Commitment and a professional point of reference for the new European led directives which were due to be implemented.

Our Energy team has been increased to include an Enforcement section which has the sole focus of aiding the Local Trading Standards/Weights and Measures departments in their Governmental responsibilities to enforce the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive accross the U.K.  

We see this as an important step forward if we are going to meet the targets set for the U.K. in the reduction of Carbon Emissions within the timeframe given.
